Premiere or After Effects?

The Task: I am going to take a collection of images and then i shall edit them in to a video which will be relative to the title of rhythms and cycles

to decide which software to use (i.e Adobe Premiere, or Adobe After Effects) i will use two images and two pieces of audio and edit them in to a short video to weigh up the pros and cons of using each piece of software

Premiere

Pros: Premiere is a very easy to use editing program, it was very easy for me to drag and dro the images in to the position i wanted and making the images the correct length was simple using the zoom in tool. Adding sound and layering it was really easy, as the water dropping sound needed to be repetitive.

Cons: I Couldn't find a way to easily move the image around, i could only make a new image positioned elsewhere. this makes the piece dull to look at.
